Civic Art

The township of Blue Mountains civic office is located in the heart of Thornbury, Ontario, just up the road from my new home in Meaford.  Within that impressive new building, can be seen a selection of original artwork created by local artists.  
Two of my pieces have been chosen to be included in this exhibition, which runs for one year, starting and concluding in May.  The paintings of mine on display both have a connection with the local region, and are 'Chasing the Fog', which depicts an elderly bridge structure very similar to the one located in Clarksburg just down the road from the city hall, and 'Mustard Coming In' which was painted from a scene just a short drive east of this area.  
It is my pleasure to be included in this public art exhibit and if anyone is passing through Thornbury, please be sure to stop in at the city hall located at 32 Mill St.  Both paintings are currently available for purchase, but you'll have to wait till next May!
